So Dove VisibleCare Body Wash is supposed to change the appearance of your skin from looking dry, rough, cracked, what have you, into smooth and soft in one week. I used it for at least two weeks and didn't notice any change. (Not that I was really looking.) BUT what I did notice is that the tattoo on my leg was starting to become extremely itchy. The itchiness would come and go and I didn't think too much about it. Then it started to itch all of the time and I noticed little bumps on my skin that were only on the tattoo and not the surrounding skin. They were definitely not mosquito bites. This worried me. I have had the tattoo for well over a year and I had not had any sort of reaction since getting it and having it touched up. I started doing research on what could cause this. Long story short, it was the Dove VisibleCare Body Wash that was causing the reaction. I stopped using it immediately and within days the itchiness on my tattoo and the little bumps went away. I'm not saying that if you have a tattoo you can't use this product, I'm just saying it could happen.
Bottom Line: It smelled good, but Dove's claims can't be supported and it could make your tattoos unbearably itchy.

Nice 'N Easy Color Blend Foam
I was exited to try this new way of dyeing my hair -- just that, was. I thought it was going to be easier and faster, but it was none of those. It was actually really messy and I thought it didn't cover as well as the usual applicator bottle. Little specs of color were every where when I was done and I thought my hair color looked splotchy. I kind of think that there was less coloring solution in this foaming version of hair color than in the regular version; so the more hair you have the less it would probably cover. The foaming bottle is also not what it appears to be. It looks as if you could pump the foam into your hand by pushing down on the dispensing part of the bottle, but no. You have to squeeze the middle of the bottle in order for the foam to be dispensed. Not that big of a deal, but I was using it I was still trying to press down on the dispenser to get the foam out because it looks so much like a regular dispensing bottle. It just felt awkward.
Bottom Line: You should probably try it at least once to see which method you prefer, but I will not be using it again.

Clean & Clear Finishes Mattifying Cleanser
I like to try different kinds of face washes instead of sticking with one that I know works - just to mix it up a bit. I've been using Clean & Clear's new face wash called Finishes Mattifying Cleanser. It says it, "Controls shine all day while removing impurities for a naturally beautiful finish." Guess what. It actually works! My face is not as shiny as it used to be since I started using this face wash and it doesn't feel as oily. However, the face wash doesn't seem to help with blemishes all that well.
Bottom Line: Controls the shine but not so much the blemishes.

Genie Bra
I saw the infomercial for the Genie Bra and got sucked in. I had to try this bra and see if all their promises held up (no pun intended). Women are always searching for the perfect bra and I believe that search will never end. I went to Bed, Bath & Beyond because I found out they had a two pack for pretty cheap. One black and one nude bra were in the box. They say you should step into the bra and pull it up. This does make it somewhat easier to get on, but it's not really necessary. There are also extra pads that come with each bra that you can slip into the cup via a small slit in one corner of the cup. They are supposed to add comfort and support. However, this bra does not provide a lot of support even with the extra pads. It's basically a sports bra. The only promise of theirs that was true was that it was comfortable. The Genie Bra is really super comfy but not really supportive and not very shapely at all. The pads that slip into the cups are also very small and move around. They are basically A cup size so it may look a little silly for bigger cup sizes and since they move around, it could make you look uneven. I would recommend wearing the Genie Bra for around the house and if you don't have to dress up for work. I wear scrubs to work so I will be wearing the Genie Bra since I'm not dressing to impress and want to be as comfortable as I can while I'm on my feet all day.
Bottom Line: Super comfy, barely there support, and not very shapely.
